1. What this site is
needoh.fun is an independent editorial site — a buyer's guide for Schylling NeeDoh squishy fidget toys. We are not Schylling and we are not a retailer. We write reviews and buying guides; every Amazon link on the site earns us a small affiliate fee (see /affiliate-disclosure).
2. Data we collect automatically
When you visit needoh.fun, three third-party analytics scripts load in your browser. Each one collects the data described below — we don't see the raw records; we see aggregated reports.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — page URLs, referrer, device class, browser, country (derived from IP and then discarded), and timestamp. Used to measure traffic volume, top pages, and referrer sources. Retention: 14 months.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) — similar event data plus anonymized session recordings (mouse movement, scroll depth, rage clicks). Used to identify UX bugs. Recordings mask form fields. Retention: 30 days for raw data, 12 months aggregated.
- Google AdSense (Google LLC) — serves display ads on a small number of pages. Uses cookies and device-level identifiers to decide which ads to show. We do not personalize ads based on your behavior on this site. See Google's ad policy.
3. Cookies we set
needoh.fun itself does not set any first-party cookies. Every cookie set when you visit this site is set by one of the third-party services listed above (Google Analytics, Clarity, AdSense) or by Amazon when you follow an affiliate link.
If you have a privacy-protection browser extension (Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin, etc.) it can block any of these — the site will still work.
4. Affiliate links and outbound referrals
Most outbound links to Amazon are tagged with our Amazon Associates ID (visible in the URL as tag=happykits-20). When you click one and buy something within 24 hours, we earn a small fee at no cost to you. Amazon's own cookies may be set when you land on their site — see their privacy policy for details.
We never share, sell, or rent your email address or any visitor-level data with retailers or affiliates.
5. Email (contact form)
If you email us at hello@needoh.fun, we keep your message and email address in our mailbox. We use them only to reply, and we delete the thread after 24 months unless the conversation is about an active correction to a published page.
6. Children
needoh.fun is a general-audience site. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. The toys we review are rated for ages 3+, but the site itself isn't directed at children and we don't accept user registrations or comments.
7. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
If you're in the EEA, UK, or California, you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you (we don't hold any visitor-level data, so the answer is typically "nothing")
- Request deletion of any data we hold (typically applies to email correspondence)
- Opt out of "sale" of personal information (we don't sell any)
- Withdraw consent for analytics cookies (block them in your browser)

8. Changes to this policy
If we add a new third-party script or change how we handle data, we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date. We won't silently expand scope.
